Rick Holt - President, Aptus Financial
As the president and co-founder of APTUS Financial, Rick Holt is responsible for developing comprehensive market strategies that capture all available opportunities in the automated teller machine industry and in the alternative banking applications segments. Rick is responsible for the overall growth and day to day leadership of the organization. Having completed seven portfolio acquisitions in the last five years and establishing a national organic sales presence, Rick guided the company to over $12 million in annual sales in just a few short years. Rick also has comprehensive budget and P&L responsibilities and is charged with developing operational models and sales programs that maximize productivity while controlling costs.
Rick's background includes executive level management positions at Nextel Communications, where he was General Manager in the Pacific Northwest division. Most recently, he was a Vice President at E*TRADE Access, responsible for distribution throughout North America. Rick led a team that handled sales, support and business development in all market segments. Rick also held management positions with the wireless division of US West in Washington, Nebraska and Oregon. In 2005, Rick was given the Portland Business Journals "40 under 40" award.
Rick currently serves on the board of directors for Epositini, a Los Angeles based Application Service Provider and for TFG Card Solutions, a Portland based Payroll Debit Card company. Rick has a BA from the University of Washington.
