After 20 years overseas, studying, building a career in finance, and starting a family, I bought the house next to my parents in Little Rock and became an Arkansan in 2011. In 2017, I retired from my career as a Wall Street Stock analyst with its long hours and constant travel to share the pleasures and responsibilities of raising our three kids, Katie, Maddy, and Charlie, with my husband Mark. While I've enjoyed several years of pursuing personal interests such as sustainably raising produce and livestock on our small farm and giving back to our community through work with organizations like The Storybook Project of Arkansas which connects incarcerated individuals with their children, I decided it was time to put my financial skills back to work with Aptus, whose client-focused, honest, flat-fee approach matches my values. As the daughter of immigrants, I learned to save early and have enjoyed financial freedom as a result. I hope at Aptus I can help others achieve this security and peace of mind while creating a financial plan that reflects their priorities and values.
