I joined Aptus in 2019 and serve as a financial planner and the Director of Financial Wellness at Aptus. I am an Investment Advisor Representative and work with clients of various professional backgrounds to create a financial plan that gives them a roadmap for reaching their goals along with the confidence to manage their own finances and peace of mind about the future.
As the Director of Financial Wellness, I’m responsible for programming Aptus’ workplace financial education program so that more people take advantage of their workplace retirement plans and have access to non-conflicted financial advice.
With Sarah-Catherine Gutierrez, I co-founded Save10, a movement to educate and equip women to prioritize retirement savings and save for their future selves.
Previously, I was the vice president of a fintech company and launched the first statewide Bank On initiative in the country as director of the Bank On AR+ program.
I practice what we preach at Aptus and have followed the “pay yourself first” approach to finances long before I knew it had a name. I’m passionate about helping others achieve their dreams and understand that finances are inextricably linked to reaching our goals. I live in Little Rock with my rescue dogs and save aggressively to travel abroad at least once a year.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, and learning Italian. I also volunteer with local nonprofits and give Save10 talks to various organizations, especially those that support women.
